Teimourian joins Bolton
Iran's defensive midfielder Andranik Teimourian has signed a two-year deal with Bolton Wanderers, the Premier League club says.
The 23-year-old of Armenian origin, who has joined Bolton from Iran's Pro League team Abu Moslem after being granted a work permit, played in all three of his country's World Cup games and has 11 caps.
"Andranik is a talented player and somebody who I believe will be able to adapt to the tough demands of the Premiership," Bolton manager Sam Allardyce told the club's website.
"He impressed a lot of people during the World Cup and I am delighted that we've beaten off a lot of competition to get his signature."
Teimourian, who made his international debut last year in a 4-0 victory against Libya, has been named in Iran's squad for the Asian Cup qualifiers against Korea Republic and Syria.
