TURKISH PM ERDOGAN IN SYDNEY

ARMENIAN COMMUNITY PROTEST AT SYDNEY APPEARANCE OF TURKISH PRIME MINISTER ERDOGAN
SYDNEY – Turkish Prime Minister H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Australia with 3 Ministers, 10 Members of Parliament and a group of officials, in addition to 60 Turkish Businessmen from various industries on 7-11 December, 2005. Prime Minister Erdogan is the parliamentary leader of the nation still in denial of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, which saw his predecessors perform the systematic slaughter of over 1.5 million Armenian civilians, and the forced capture of 90% of Western Armenia.
Prime Minister Erdogan, and his delegation of parliamentary associates visiting Australia, also form a part of the government currently holding a crippling economic blockade against Armenia.
The entire Turkish delegation, including the Prime Minister, will be in Sydney for a business conference on Friday December 9.
The Armenian Youth Federation if Australia is planning a community protest on that date at the venue of his speech, the Sydney Intercontinental Hotel, from 10:30am onwards.
The entire Australian-Armenian community’s presence will be thoroughly appreciated.
