We draw to your attention the following matter:
Background:
* SBS TV will air at 7:30pm Saturday 22 April 2006 a new documentary on the Armenian Genocide in its series – “As it happened”. The documentary, made by Emmy-Award winning producer Andrew Goldberg, is the complete story of the Armenian genocide.
* The film describes what happened before, during and since World War I and features interviews with acclaimed scholars such as Peter Balakian, Samantha Power, Ron Suny, Taner Akcam, Halil Berktay, and Israel Charney. It is narrated by Julianna Margulies and includes historical narrations by Ed Harris, Natalie Portman, Laura Linney and Orlando Bloom. It includes rare footage which has never been seen before.
