AYF Australia 2012 Calendars available now!
The Calendar Committee has worked hard to ensure the release of one of the organisation's most unique calendars in its history is available for audiences prior to key 2011 events.
The calendar, available as a desktop and poster format, includes prints of 12 hand drawings by Armenian-Australian youth.
Drawings of key figures and landmarks in Armenian history grace the calendar's pages. These include drawings of Hrant Dink, Soseh Mayrig, Soghomon Tehlirian, Dzidzernagapert, Sardarabad, Etchmiadzin, the Lisbon 5, Armen Karo and Papken Siuni, Mamig Babig, Mount Ararat, Khrimian Hayrig and an abstract of the 1988 earthquake.
The young Armenian-Australian artists who contributed their skills and time included Yerevan Dilanchian, Ani Sarafian, Allin-Gayaneh Vartan-Boghossian, Sarin Zeitounian, Eduard Nalbandian and Arin Der Vartanian. Hrair Minassian provided his design expertise as part of the 2012 Calendar Committee.
