AYF ORGANISES FIRST EVER ALL-ARMENIAN YOUTH CAMP
The Armenian Youth Federation comes to announce the details of the first ever ALL-ARMENIAN YOUTH CAMP in Australia for January 19 to 22 2007.
The camp aims to bring together the Armenian youth of Australia in an organised environment for social, sporting and educational purposes.
The All-Armenian Youth Camp will allow high school age Australian-Armenians to come together and share in unforgettable experiences. The camp will include fun evenings, professionally supervised activities at the picturesque Milson Island campsite, and lectures from guest speakers.
Transport to and from the campsite will be via hired buses (departing Ryde and Willoughby) and private ferry service, which will take campers from Brooklyn to Milson Island.
All high school age Australian-Armenian youth are invited to apply via the online form available at www.ayfaustralia.com, and it is recommended they do so in a hurry since places are limited. Those first in will be given preference.
Following the reviewing of all applicants, parents of the successful parties will be contacted and invited to an information evening at the Armenian Cultural Centre, Willoughby.
At the information evening, parents and campers will be introduced to the Camp Leadership Committee. Also, they will be provided with a thorough outline of planned lectures and activities for the four days, while the rules and regulations of the Camp will be read out, and the facilities of the campsite presented.
